BRUSHO is een transparante aquarelverf die beschikbaar is in een uitgebreide reeks van spannende kleuren, in kleine potjes met droog poeder geleverd. U kunt ze direct mengen met koud water. De kleuren lenen zich uitstekend voor het maken van een verscheidenheid aan tinten en schaduwen door het mengen, verdunnen of concentreren of door brush techniek. Brusho is uniek en veel van de effecten kunnen op geen andere manier worden bereikt. Zelfs na vele jaren van Brusho schilderen, zijn er nog nieuwe mogelijkheden te vinden voor dit zeer interessant product.
Who uses Brusho
Many artists renowned in their own field use Brusho. It is used at all levels, by primary schoolchildren, professional artists, teachers and lecturers in art and craft. Some examples of these and people who have kindly contributed in the preparation of some of the techniques are: Stan Griffiths (Technique for using Brusho on wood). Mr Griffiths is an art teacher with many years experience in this field, who now also makes a variety of wooden pictures, games and shelves (see picture on front page). Trevor Jones-Fellow of designer bookbinders, York (Techniques for making Decorative Grain and Pattern using a thick paste medium). Mr. Jones has been making and designing fine bindings for almost forty years. A former art and craft teacher and lecturer and President of Designer Bookbinders 1983-85, his bindings are now exhibited in the British Library: Victoria & Albert Museum; Keatly Trust Collection; Shipley Art Gallery; Royal Library, Copenhagen; Harry Ransom Humanities Research Centre, University of Texas; Lilley Library, Indiana and Private Collections in the UK and USA (see example on back page).Gail Harker - author of books on embroidery and needlecraft, sold worldwide and tutor of London City and Guilds Embroidery. Christine McArthur - a former lecturer of art who now paints full-time and exhibits her work (see picture on front page).
